I really like the Lina-ish pose you made. It looks very cool,very much looks like she is really going to cast a spell , with her full-of-movement pose. I like it how she stretches her hands, you really captured Lina's personality. The perspective look great too, and I can see that you worked on the lineart. And you used your own style, since I see thats her clothing isn't exactly like in the anime, so you didn't use any reference. (which is good of course)
And that spell effect, whoa! Just what i've wanted to do to my Lina-spellcasting pics. Looks very cool and magical. Your style Lina really looks cool! Definetely a fav!

oh wowie, you were spot on with that reference thing... it did cause it to look a bit different, the hair being too long and a little this and that here and there.

The whole idea behind the picture was to make it energetic (pun intended), like a reflection to her personality. So i went a bit overboard with the lightning. I haven't really done spells with photoshop before (or at least i can't remember) so i tried all kinds of stuff, and pretty much pressed lots of buttons randomly

oh and about mr tturunen, well, he's just a natural born lunatic, with nothing better to do than torment me all the time. LOL, i'm kidding, he's a schoolmate..... and pretty harmless, unless you don't like the same movies as he does.

I like it! Looks very cool!^^
